Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to attend the "VIth International Workshop on Singularities in Generic
Geometry and Applications" which will be held in València, Spain from the 21st to the 25th of
October of 2019.

This is the sixth event of a series of workshops which began precisely in València in 2009. The
other editions were held in 

Bedlewo, Poland 2011,
Edinburgh, UK 2013, 
Kyoto-Kobe, Japan 2015, 
México City, México 2017. 

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of this series of workshops we have decided to organize the
workshop in València again. 

The idea of this workshop is to get together specialists in geometric aspects of singularity
theory, those active in the field of its applications, and other researchers willing to apply
singularity theory methods and techniques in their work. We will focus on singularities in
Differential Geometry, Differential Topology, Control theory, Bifurcation theory and related areas.
