two months ago I have announced lectures by Dennis Gaitsgory (see the message bellow). Unfortunately, due to some health problems, Prof. Gaitsgory had to cancel his visit. The lectures will be rescheduled for the week of March 13-17, 2017. I will make an announcement again once the schedule is fixed.

Title:	Langlands conjecture for function fields via shtukas

Abstract:	This will be a mini-course reviewing the work of Vincent Lafforgue, in which he proves the Automorphic->Galois direction in the Langlands conjecture. The key ideas of the work are closely related to those from conformal field theory: fusion and local-to-global principles. The main tool is the Geometric Satake equivalence.
