Title:	Langlands conjecture for function fields via shtukas

Abstract:	This will be a mini-course reviewing the work of Vincent Lafforgue, in which he proves the Automorphic->Galois direction in the Langlands conjecture. The key ideas of the work are closely related to those from conformal field theory: fusion and local-to-global principles. The main tool is the Geometric Satake equivalence.
