先日小林昭七先生のご逝去のご連絡を皆様にさしあげました。
その後、小林昭七先生のご遺族の御意思で，小林昭七メモリアル基金を立ち上げ
ました．
ご遺族はお葬式のためのお香典やお花はご辞退され，
基金に寄付していただくことを望まれているようです．
基金への寄付をして下さる場合は，以下の手順で行って下さるようお願いいたし

The Shoshichi Kobayashi Memorial Fund
Established in 2012 by his daughters Mei and Sumire Kobayashi in honor
of their father who was a faculty member and former chairman of the
Mathematics Department at the University of California, Berkeley. The
fund is intended to support foreign graduate students in the department.

To donate please follow these instructions:

1. Go to math.berkeley.edu/about/donate

2. Click on "Make a gift to Mathematics online" and fill out the
required sections on the Give to Cal Online Giving Form.

3. Under "Gift Instructions and Recognition," check the box for memorial
gift and insert the name Shoshichi Kobayashi.

4. Under "Special Instructions," please note that this gift is intended
for The Shoshichi Kobayashi Memorial Fund.

5. Confirm information and submit.

(Alternatively in the US checks may be made payable to The Shoshichi
Kobayashi Memorial Fund and sent c/o Nancy Palmer, 979 Evans Hall,
Berkeley, CA 94720-3840.)
