Geometry and Physics of the Landau-Ginzburg Model
(Please see
http://member.ipmu.jp/kentaro.hori/Meetings/LG3/
for details)
Two-dimensional (2,2) supersymmetric Landau-Ginzburg model
has been an important model in the study of supersymmetric
quantum field theory and superstring theory. More recently,
a great deal of mathematical progress is being made in various aspects
such as mirror symmetry, the Landau-Ginzburg/Calabi-Yau
correspondence, gauged LG models, higher genus A and B-model,
and connections to integrable hierarchies. This workshop will
bring together many of the key players and will provide a place to
interchange ideas and learn about the most important advances.
The daily schedule will include a small number of presentations
and plenty of time for informal discussions.
Dates: June 25 (Mon) - June 29 (Fri), 2012
Place: Lecture Hall, Kavli IPMU, the University of Tokyo
Speakers:
Mohammed Abouzaid (MIT)
Andrea Brini (Imperial College)
Alessandro Chiodo (Grenoble)
Kenji Fukaya (Kyoto)
Hiroshi Iritani (Kyoto)
Tyler Jarvis (BYU)
Jun Li (Stanford)
Si Li (Northwestern)
Yongbin Ruan (U of Michigan)
Sergey Shadrin (UVA, Amsterdam)
Nick Sheridan (MIT)
Atsushi Takahashi (Osaka)
