2008年の，第一回日本数学会季期研究所（MSJ-SI）
``Probabilistic Approach to Geometry''
に続いて，第二回日本数学会季期研究所（MSJ-SI）
``Arrangements of Hyperplanes''
を、2009年8月1日から8月13日まで、北海道大学にて開催いたします。
前半五日間(8/1-8/6)は、専門家による超平面配置に関する入門的サーベイ講演、
後半六日間(8/8-8/13)は、超平面配置及び関連分野の研究者による一時間講演
からなる二部構成の研究集会です。

多岐にわたるサーベイ講演から始まりますので、専門家のみならず、
本分野に興味をもたれている方（特に若い学生の方々）のご参加を歓迎致します。
