techniques have been establishing themselves as a standard,
albeit difficult, </p>

for obtaining geometrical objects with special properties. </p>
<p style=" margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px; margin-left:0px;

talk, I will focus on this technique in the context of K\"ahler
metrics which are Ricci-flat, </p>
<p style=" margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px; margin-left:0px;
margin-right:0px; -qt-block-indent:0; text-indent:0px;">or more
generally, have constant scalar curvature. </p>
<p style=" margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px; margin-left:0px;

first requirements for its success are to have a large enough
pool of model metrics </p>
<p style=" margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px; margin-left:0px;

figure out the obstructions for gluing them together into
metrics with desired properties.</p>
