The next UK-Japan Winter School will be held at King's College London from 10-13 January 2011 on "New Methods in Geometry". There will be three short courses plus a number of individual talks. The courses are:<br>

1 - Simon Donaldson (Imperial College): Exceptional holonomy, gauge theory and calibrated geometry<br>
<br>
2 - John Jones (Warwick): String topology<br>
<br>
3 - Keiji Oguiso (Osaka): Classification of general singular fibers of proper holomorphic Lagrangian fibrations via characteristic curves<br>
