Title: Clustering of conditional mutual information in thermal equilibrium

Abstract: Conditional mutual information (CMI) has emerged as a central 
quantity for characterizing correlations among three subsystems, and 
understanding its behavior in many-body systems is an important research 
direction. When CMI is evaluated for the entire system in thermal 
equilibrium, it is conjectured to exhibit clustering, namely, spatial decay 
with respect to subsystem separation. Recent years have seen significant 
progress toward establishing this property, pursued from several 
complementary approaches. In this talk, I will present an approach based on 
the locality of the entanglement Hamiltonian [1], and, time permitting, I 
will also introduce a newer perspective that employs recovery maps [2].
