We are pleased to inform you about Catch-All Math Colloquium in July.

Time: July 18, Tuesday, 3:00-5:00 PM (JST), Online

Speaker: Prof. Osamu Saeki (Kyushu University)

Title (first talk): Viewing manifolds through singularities (language:
English)
Title (second talk): Guided by mathematics
        (language: Japanese, we plan to prepare some kind of translation)

The first part is a talk on mathematics, designed so that it is
understandable
to a general mathematical audience.
The second part is aimed at catching and promoting diverse groups of people
doing math
and besides the speaker’s contemplation also includes small-group
discussions.

講演者のお話の他，希望者のためのグループに分かれてのディスカッションもあります．
