Title:  Localizing virtual cycles for Donaldson-Thomas invariants of
Calabi-Yau 4-folds

Abstract: Recently Jeongseok Oh and Richard Thomas constructed virtual
cycles for moduli spaces of stable sheaves on Calabi-Yau 4-folds by which
DT4 invariants may be defined. In this talk, I will explain how the virtual
cycle localizes to the zero locus of an isotropic cosection of the
obstruction sheaf. This localization may reduce the DT4 computations to
simpler cases and gives us vanishing results for hyperkahler 4-folds. Based
on a recent joint work with Hyeonjun Park at arXiv:2012.13167.
