Title: Homology of gl(\infty)

Abstract: In this talk, after recalling some basic facts about the Hochscild homology, I will explain an old result due to Boris' Feigin & Tsygan on the homology of gl(\infty) defined over a field k of characteristic 0. A generalization of their results to gl(\infty) over an associative unital k-algebra will be also discussed.
