強力に推進する若手研究者を、2017 年度の基礎科学特別研究員
   (SPDR)として募集しています。

iTHESは、理論物理学、計算科学、数理生物学、物性理論、量子情報理論
など様々な研究チームから構成されています。また、
2017年度からは、新たに数学（純粋および応用）チームを立ち上げるべく
準備が開始されています。

Call for applications
for the position of Special Postdoctoral Researcher (SPDR) for FY 2017
-------------------------------------------------------------

RIKEN is currently accepting applications for the FY 2017 Special
Postdoctoral Researcher (SPDR) Program, from young, creative, independent
researchers who will be a powerful force in furthering RIKEN’s research
activities.

The application deadline is April 15 (Fri.), 2016.

Total number of openings is about 60 in all fields in Natural Sciences.
In particular, we encourage the young researchers in pure and applied
mathematics to apply for this SPDR.

The research group to host mathematicians is iTHES (interdisciplinary
theoretical Science) Research Group

iTHES is currently composed of research teams in theoretical physics,
computational science, mathematical biology, condensed matter theory,
quentum information.  New teams in pure and applied mathematics are also
