Title:
Remarks on pavings of the Siegel modular varieties.

Abstract:
We are concerned with the structure of
the moduli space of polarized abelian varieties
in positive characteristic, especially
the singularities of Newton polygon strata on the moduli space.
In this talk, we outline some general theories
with concrete examples in the lower dimensional case.
